Private Communication Systems

DECT or VoIP over WiFi are no longer the only solutions for building an indoor-outdoor wireless telephone network. Since 2009, there is an alternative in the form of a (low-power) GSM and/or UMTS network that a company can set up and operate under its own management. The use of a GSM device is then no longer limited to the networks of public operators.

OWN INDOOR-OUTDOOR WIRELESS TELEPHONE NETWORK

Private GSM networks have become possible because the government has released part of the radio spectrum for this use. SAIT can therefore provide you with this proven technology in your own environment.

By placing ‘pico cells’ that serve as an ‘access point’, a private GSM network is created that seamlessly integrates with your existing telephone switchboard. All the functionalities of your fixed telephony environment are thus also directly applicable to mobile phones, such as the possibility to transfer calls, access to the address book, access to calendars, etc.

Depending on the nature of your business operations and the need for accessibility of your employees, you can determine the SLA of your Private GSM network yourself. You therefore always have ‘control’ over the availability of your Private GSM network.

PZI

A PZI, also called a Personal Safety Installation, can be used in various situations. During calamities a person search installation takes care of calling up BHV staff or other personnel such as doctors and nurses. SAIT bv provides you with fully integrated systems that – if desired or necessary – meet the requirements of the NEN2575.

NEN2575 is a nationally applicable standard that imposes strict and precise requirements on alarm and evacuation systems. This means that in case of fire or other emergencies a fast and orderly evacuation of a building and/or outdoor area must take place. The design, execution and quality of the installation must meet these requirements. This also applies to the FAFS organisation and the way in which the evacuation system is wired and installed.

In addition to executing calls to persons, the Persons Search Installation solution of SAIT bv can also provide functions for ‘lone working‘. Via built-in triggers such as an emergency button, man-down or no-move, an alarm is sent to your control room, security office or emergency response organisation.
